Hey, my name is Emma, I’m 25 years old next month & looking for a new place due to a massive rent increase at my current house. I am a full time student at La Trobe Uni about to start my final year of a Bachelor’s in Animal and Veterinary Biosciences. I had been working part time as a qualified veterinary nurse for 5 years but currently am off work due to a flare up with chronic vestibular migraines (currently receiving DSP as income). The migraines affect my ability to work but do not affect the people I live with or require them to make ang changes to how they live at all.
I’m very clean/tidy and very easy going, approachable and not picky or petty. I respect the space I live in as well as the space of my house mates. If you hate gardening, then I’m the housemate for you because I love spending time out in the garden.
I have a cat with me too, her name is Mushroom, she’s a 3 year old torti and is a very affectionate little lady. loves everyone (and loves a cuddle). She’s strictly indoors only and spends most of her time asleep or following me around. She could live with a dog provided they are gentle and good with cats, her and my family Labrador (lives with my mum) are best buddies. However she doesn’t like other cats so needs to be the only cat in the house.

I’m open to sharing food but my current housemate and I are happy providing & cooking for ourselves. We just have a few communal basics like instant coffee, sugar, oil, milk. Happy to do whatever works for everyone else.
